Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities

Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities is a national program recognizing college students for outstanding leadership, scholarship and service.

Each fall outstanding students, nominated by UNC Charlotte faculty and staff, are invited to submit applications for this recognition opportunity. Applications are screened and selection is made by staff in the Center for Leadership Development.

Approximately 40 students from UNC Charlotte will be selected for this honor annually.
Students selected for the honor are recognized at a Brunch reception early in the Spring semester.

Eligibility and Selection
In order to be eligible for selection for 2007-2008, students must have an anticipated graduation date of December 2007, May 2008 or Summer 2008.

The Who's Who Among American Colleges and Universities program seeks to recognize the most outstanding students from each campus. Categories considered are:

  • Campus and Student Organization Involvement
  • Honors & Awards
  • Volunteer/Community Service
  • Research and Presentations

(Please note that you are not required to have accomplishments in each category in order to be considered.)

All applicants will be notified of their status in the selection process.
