Scholarships and RecognitionCurtis Johnson Memorial Scholarship
This $1000 scholarship was established in honor of former UNC Charlotte student Curtis E. Johnson who died as a result of a car accident in May 2004. Selection for this scholarship is based on the student’s involvement in one or more of the opportunities of importance to Curtis.
2. Completion of at least 60 hours of coursework at the time of application. 3. Minimum GPA of 2.5. Distinguished Leadership MedalsSelection for this honor is based on completion of one or more of the Center for Leadership Development's program, outstanding demonstrated leadership in campus or community organizations and a sound grade point average.
Students selected for this honor will receive a leadership medallion to be worn at graduation.

Additional criteria include: Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and UniversitiesWho's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities is a national program recognizing college students for outstanding leadership, scholarship and service.
Each fall outstanding students, nominated by UNC Charlotte faculty and staff, are invited to submit applications for this recognition opportunity. Applications are screened and selection is made by staff in the Center for Leadership Development. |
